Vista Ultimate – Why I Hate It!
Ok, I have been using Vista Ultimate now for almost two years and I hated it when I first got it and I still hate it. Oh, it does have some nice eye candy. I have a 3 GHz Dual Core Intel CPU with 4 Gig of Memory. Again running Vista Ultimate 32 bit with SP1. But let me tell you my three main reasons why I hate Vista so much.
1) The first is UAC. I am a power user and having to give permission every time I do something is crazy. So guess what? I turned it off after a few weeks. I got along with out it for 25 years, I can get along without UAC for another 25 years, if I live that long 
2) The second is I am always getting a “Program not responding…” message. This not only includes third party applications but also windows explorer. The programs usually come back after a short wait of 10-30 seconds.
3) And third, Vista is so slow copying files and moving files. What would take Windows XP 5-15 seconds to copy or move files it now takes Vista 30-60 seconds to do the same procedure.
