I went to the movies again saw the movie Paul Blart: Mall Cop starring Kevin James at my favorite movie theater, The Warren Theater, here in Moore, Oklahoma.
This is a comedy by Sony Pictures where Paul Blart is a single dad whose wife left him and his daughter after getting her green card. He is trying to make ends meet as a security officer at a New Jersey mall here he scoots nimbly around on a Segway. It is a job that Paul takes seriously even though no one else in his security team does. He falls for a new kiosk sales woman but get’s drunk at a local bar where his new girl friend invites him to attend. This almost ends the relationship as he can not handle the liquor as it raises his blood sugar and his actions are very bad.
Black Friday comes to the mall two days later and a new security guard trainee and a group of Santa’s helpers shut down the mall early to rob the mall’s stores of their credit card balances. In the process Paul’s girl friend and his daughter are taken hostage and Paul Blart is the only person left to save them. He turns into a real cop to finish the job.
In the end Paul Blart captures or knocks out the gang one by one until only the leader is left. He flees with the hostages and prior to them getting on the plane, Paul finally saves them. This also saves Paul romance with his girl friend.
I found the movie to be very funny and laughed out loud several times. No violence, killing, swearing , and no nudity, thank-you!. I give it 4 out of 5 stars and recommend that you see the movie.
