I went out to the movies again and this time I saw the movie Knowing starring Nicolas Cage as Professor John Koestler at my favorite movie theater, The Warren Theater, here in Moore, Oklahoma.
Knowing is a action-thriller about a professor who stumbles upon a letter from a 50 year time capsule which his son had received. This letter is nothing but random numbers but soon John starts seeing that these random numbers contains chilling secrets and that they not only foretold tragic events of the past but also contains three events in the future. As two of these events comes true there is only one event left. John soon finds out that this last event foretells the destruction of earth.
During all of this figuring out that these random numbers are prophecies John and his son are seeing men that appear out of the blue. In the end John finds out that these men are actually aliens and are sent to take his son and the granddaughter of the student who created the random number list 50 years ago. They are taken away in a space ship to another planet to continue the human race as the earth is destroyed in the end.
The movie has some spectacular special event scenes and I thought the movie was very good. I give it 4.5 stars out of 5 and recommend that you see the movie if you get the chance. Post if you have any comments.
