Yesterday evening I went to the movie and watched the movie “Green Zone” starring Matt Damon at my favorite movie theater, “The Warren” here in Moore, Oklahoma.
The movie takes place in Iraq in 2003 where Chief Warrant Officer Roy Miller (Matt Damon) and his team of inspectors are on a mission to find Iraq’s reported stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs). They travel from one site to another searching for WMDs. They fail to find any WMDs or any chemical agents or other weapons. Instead, they discover an elaborate cover-up in which the most elusive weapon of all is the truth. Damon turns into a rogue U.S. Army officer who must hunt through covert and faulty intelligence hidden on foreign soil before war escalates in an unstable region.
I watched this movie expecting something like the Bourne series since it was directed by the same people. All in all this movie was a good movie and I would recommend that you see the movie. It’s just that I wanted to see more of the Bourne series survival skills that Matt Damon showed in the Bourne series. It does have non-stop action from the start to the finish. I would give it a rating of 4.2 stars out of 5! Go see it, you will enjoy it.
